Saskatchewan: percent annual electricity generated by wind - 2006-2015

SaskPower annually reports how much of its total generation is sourced from each of coal, natural gas,  hydro electricity, wind and imports. The graph on this page shows only the wind portion although if you are interested in the rest of SaskPower's generation (which is dominated by coal) try this.

The data demonstrate that the amount of electricity generated from wind has, while fluctuating from year to year, been unchanged in the 10 years since 2006. Saskatchewan is actually one of the very few jurisdictions in North America, indeed in the World, which has reduced its use of wind energy in the last 8 years.  This page shows a wind/solar comparison of Saskatchewan with the US and leading states, since 2006.
